Product Strategy Development:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with the company s goals and market needs.
- Ensure the product strategy addresses customer needs and market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
- Ensure the roadmap is communicated clearly to stakeholders and aligns with company priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, and support teams, to gather and document product requirements and user stories.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable product requirements.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and development effort.
- Balance short-term needs with long-term strategic goals.
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams.
- Ensure that the product provides a seamless and intuitive user experience by working with UX designers and conducting usability testing.
- Incorporate user feedback to continually improve the product experience.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, validate assumptions, and inform product decisions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure a successful rollout.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor product performance and user engagement through analytics and feedback, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and roadmap adjustments.
- Act as a product evangelist and advocate for customers, ensuring their needs and feedback are at the forefront of product development efforts.
- Engage with customers to understand their pain points and requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with product management and roadmap tools such as Jira, Trello, Aha!, or Productboard.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including experience leading Scrum teams and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed product decisions and measure product success.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and technologies to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
- Skills in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate product vision, requirements, and status updates to stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Must be comfortable public speaking and presenting and advocating on behalf of your product.
