• Data Scientist/Sr. Data Scientist - Extensive experience on Dataiku platform

Preferred to have a strong experience and background on Dataiku to support the team in advanced scenarios related to the Dataiku data science platform that has MLOPs capabilities.

• Data scientist with telecom background who has worked on telecommunication use cases, especially on radio frequency analysis and service quality use cases.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will leverage advanced analytics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our telecommunications services. This role involves designing predictive models and simulations to anticipate market behaviors and regulatory impacts, implementing real-time anomaly detection systems for network monitoring, and developing data integration frameworks to support decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and improve service delivery. Leading a team of data scientists, you will guide innovative projects that drive strategic insights and maintain our competitive edge in the telecom sector. Your expertise will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable intelligence that supports our regulatory and operational goals.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

•      Design and implement machine learning algorithms capable of processing and analyzing large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and potential irregularities.
•      Develop predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques to forecast outcomes and behaviors within telecommunications data.
•      Utilize natural language processing (NLP) to extract insights from unstructured data sources, including social media content, policy documents, and regulatory texts.
•      Create simulation models to evaluate the effectiveness of different regulatory and policy scenarios, helping predict their impacts before implementation.
•      Apply optimization algorithms to improve the efficiency of network operations, including the placement of mobile monitoring stations and spectrum management.
•      Oversee the collection and storage of vast amounts of data from diverse sources, including social media, network sensors, and public records.
•      Ensure the integration of this data into a unified system or data lake, facilitating easy access and analysis.
•      Implement systems for real-time detection of network anomalies and security threats, utilizing continuous data monitoring and advanced analytical techniques.
•      Analyze network performance data to predict and mitigate potential downtimes, ensuring reliable service delivery.
•      Develop comprehensive reporting tools that provide actionable insights and detailed analytics to support decision-making processes.
•      Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to depict analysis results and scenario simulations, making complex data accessible to stakeholders.
•      Monitor compliance with telecommunications regulations by analyzing data to identify potential violations and risks.
•      Develop tools and systems that support the regulatory body in maintaining fair competition and monitoring market behaviors.
•      Collaborate with various internal teams, including IT, network operations, and policy strategists, to align data science projects with business and regulatory objectives.
•      Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts in sophisticated data analysis and project execution.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with a strong preference for experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Expertise in predictive modeling, NLP, machine learning, and data visualization.
• Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and familiar with SAS or other analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead data-driven projects from conception to actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex data into clear insights and system designs for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge & experience in dataiku (Mandatory)
