Job Overview:
We are looking for a sharp and analytical Commercial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will focus on managing and optimizing vendor relationships and expenses to ensure that we are working with the right partners and maintaining cost efficiency. You will prioritize payments based on product and service analysis, conduct audits, and perform detailed cost evaluations. A key part of your role will be to analyze existing data and ensure expenses are controlled effectively through strategic vendor management. This position will require strong skills in Google Spreadsheets for data analysis and report generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze vendor products and services to determine payment prioritization and optimize expenses.
• Conduct audits and reviews of vendor performance and pricing to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Perform cost analysis and identify opportunities for expense reduction and vendor optimization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze data on vendor costs, ensuring alignment with company cost control strategies.
• Utilize Google Spreadsheets to analyze and present financial and vendor performance data.
• Provide insights and recommendations on cost-effective solutions and vendor choices.
• Ensure that payments are strategically prioritized without managing the actual disbursement process.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in vendor management, cost analysis, or commercial operations.
• Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets for data analysis and report generation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost control and optimization.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to conduct audits, identify discrepancies, and suggest actionable solutions.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Preferred:

• Experience in cost optimization or expense management within a commercial team.
• Familiarity with financial analysis tools and practices, though not involved in direct payments.
