Principal Member Technical Staff

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 10+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Looking for smart engineers who would be joining Database Cloud Engineering team who are passionate to work on exciting Oracle Cloud/DBaaS, ADB-S, Private (Exadata based Multi-tenant deployments) or Public Cloud (DBCS, ExaCS/ExaCC or Autonomous DB Cloud)
Experience of working on Oracle Cloud or Amazon AWS or MS Azure would be desired.
Candidate should possesses good knowledge of RDBMS/Oracle DB Architecture, Configuring & Testing Oracle 12c, 19c or above on single and multi-tenant DB(CDB/PDB). Have good exposure with SQL tuning as well as Performance Tuning
Well-versed with DBA(Apps/System) operations viz. Installation, Configuration, Administration, Upgrades and Patching, Data Pump, RMAN Backup & Recovery/User Managed Backup & Recovery on Oracle DB 12c,,19c and above. Knowledge of RAC database install, config and administration

Responsibilities include Planning, Preparation/Development and Execution of Production systems/test suites using real world Application viz. Fusion Applications. Isolate and troubleshoot issues related to various Oracle Database Errors and/or Oracle FMW products/Fusion Application Products, and underlying Operating systems and other Infrastructure components.

Job requires Designing, Implementing, Running, Maintaining Test Suites/Scripts, Enhancing Test plans. You will be fully responsible to ensure highest product quality by exposing defects, identifying regressions and verifying resolutions.

Job requires good knowledge of performance testing tools, continuous development/integration skills, database, Linux operating system concepts and cloud infrastructure exposure. You get an excellent opportunity to work on end to end performance tesing cycle against popular applications viz. Fusion Applications deployed on OCI.

Identify performance bottleneck in the application design and determine root cause of software defects by subjecting the applications under different business load scenarios using large volume of data.

End to end experience/understanding of infrastructure, setting up the simulation environment, tune/configure the environment, test client scripting, Running, Monitoring the test, analyze the performance issues like SQL bottlenecks, memory, thread, connection pool issue etc.
Good scripting knowledge in any python,shell,perl.

Requires strong interpersonal and technical skills to work effectively and efficiently with development staff and fellow colleagues to identify/debug and resolve software defects.

Education Qualification and Experience

Candidates should be BE, BTech, MTech or MCA from a premier/good University with a strong relevant work experience of 10+ yrs
