Principal Lead- Disaster Recovery

Job Description:
Lead development of automation patterns by analyzing application designs, collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate automated solutions seamlessly and move the organization towards more mature recovery and resiliency models.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve recovery patterns of critical tier zero platforms and premium systems to reduce recovery times. Execute thorough testing protocols to validate automation system functionality.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing automation, continuously evaluate automation opportunities for applications working app teams and drive updates as needed. Assist with planning TRR exercises to simulate various failure scenarios and execute failover and failback automation during including real disaster scenarios along with failing away during a critical Incident. Document results and implement identified improvements to reduce recovery times.
Evaluate new technologies and services that could improve disaster recovery capabilities, lead enablement of those services and tools within the organization and own maintenance and support of those. They will own the resiliency and recovery automation deliverables leading through a team of automation engineers.
