Responsibilities Lead and manage large operations of custodian business and develop performance framework. Build strong partnership with stakeholders by thinking ways to improve operational efficiencies. Upskill team and leadership towards complex processes and strive for continuous improvement. Retain and develop talent within the operations. Bring industry best practice of custodian business and recommend changes within the process to achieve efficiencies. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to better serve business. At least 15 years of formal education preferably in Finance/Commerce. Minimum of 10 years operations management experience in the domain of Custody operations, Mutual Funds/Asset Management, Banking, or any other financial services organization. Excellent knowledge of MS office. Should possess extensive researching skills and knowledge of the Custodian industry in the US. Work towards developing custodian business processes and align to the enterprise goals The role will be responsible for leading and delivering the PGS RIS strategy, align with US custodian business strategy Have proven expertise in building, leading, and managing inclusive and diverse teams which are skilled and future-ready. Establish and continually improve program/ project management and execution processes including Risk Management, communication management, resource management, defect management & prevention, communication management, and cost management. Manage, Inspire and motivate Operations leaders to achieve operational excellence, high employee engagement and improvement of overall service delivery. Drive people engagement activities, achieve and sustain employee pulse results Build performance framework to drive efficiency and quality for global teams Drive efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity and build strong mechanisms to track value derived from these initiatives for business. Identify areas of improvement and deploy continuous improvements in the process. Manage program/project delivery engagement tasks, issue resolution and communication across execution teams to manage the engagement successfully. Drive culture of high performance, process improvement and transformation to drive value and optimization. Significant people management capability, be able to lead and manage an aspiring team of highly skilled and tenured staff. Help develop people and leaders within the organization by providing leadership, coaching, and support to directs to ensure the team meets or exceeds business strategic imperative and adds value beyond meeting targets. Display commercial mindset and leadership maturity and work with stakeholders to implement ideas. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to better serve business. Qualifications Preferred educational background: Bachelor s/master s degree, excellent leadership and problem-solving ability with analytical, and decision-making skills are required. Must have an overall knowledge of the industry, as well as broad knowledge of managing business in the financial services sector. Subject matter expertise in the US Custodian business is must-have. Total years of industry experience: Minimum of 15 years professional experience in BFSI IT/ITeS industry of which 10+ years doing complex or leadership roles with U.S Custodian operations Additional Information This job reports to: Group Manager/Associate Director
