Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient and scalable infrastructure on GCP to support development, testing, and production environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes, improve system reliability, and enhance the overall development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Management :

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.

Automation & CI/CD :

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Google Cloud Build, Jenkins and GitHub Actions to ensure seamless deployment.

Monitoring & Optimization :

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like New Relic, Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana to ensure system reliability and performance.

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure security best practices, such as IAM role management, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve issues in development and production environments.

Configuration Management :

- Utilize tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef to manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and ensure consistency across environments.

Incident Response :

- Respond to and troubleshoot production incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.

- Proven expertise with Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.

- Experience configuring & utilizing CloudFlare

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, load balancers, DNS).

- Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer).

- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

- Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies.
