E/M IP Coder

As an E&M IP Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient coding of medical records. Your responsibilities will include:

* Coding medical records using the CPT and ICD-10 coding systems.
* Verifying the accuracy of coded medical records.
* Applying correct coding rules and guidelines.
* Identifying and resolving coding errors.
* Staying updated on the latest coding regulations and guidelines.
* Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

**Requirements:**

* Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
* Strong understanding of E&M coding guidelines and regulations.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
