Job Description :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior PHP Laravel developer to join our team and take ownership of the full development lifecycle of our web applications and managing tech team at BIA.

Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, CRM, DevOps & Server Management, WordPress is a must for the role.

Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science IT or Computer Engineering.

Experience : 2 - 3 years

Job location : Andheri West

Weekly off : Sundays

Backend :

- Design and develop robust and scalable backend applications using PHP Laravel framework.

- Manage a team of Senior PHP Developers.

- Strong knowledge of PHP programming.

- Good understanding of DSA algorithms & SOLID principles helping you to build efficient and scalable codes

- Implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL for data access and interaction

- Strong understanding of MySQL allowing you to write complex queries

- Design and implement efficient database models

- Optimize code for performance and efficiency

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Laravel features and best practices

Frontend :

- Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel and related framework

- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS or any other frontend framework

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript & jQuery, enabling the implementation of interactive and dynamic features on the frontend

- Hands on knowledge on CRM systems (preferably VTiger), customization of CRM based on EdTech requirements

- Implement responsive design for optimal mobile experience

- Focus on accessibility and usability best practices

General :

- Collaborate effectively with designers and other developers

- Write clear and concise documentation

- Participate in Agile development processes

- Adapt to changing requirements and priorities

- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment

Skills : Below mentioned points are a must-have :

- Experienced in managing a team (Assigning tasks, reviewing codes, production deployments, managing employee leaves).

- Proven experience in Software development with Laravel, PHP MVC framework

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

- Sound at writing complex SQL queries without relying on modern ORMs.

- Familiarity with Git and Agile methodologies preferred.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

- Ability to write clean and efficient code

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Passion for building high-quality software

Bonus Points :

- Experience with API design and implementation

- Knowledge of DevOps practices
