Qa Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications (Android and iOS)

- Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing for mobile apps

- Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar

- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure proper testing coverage

- Set up, configure, and maintain test environments for manual and automated testing

- Write and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or other relevant frameworks

- Analyze test results, report metrics, and provide detailed feedback on product quality

Requirements:

- 3+ year of experience in software QA, specifically for mobile applications

- Strong knowledge of manual testing processes and methodologies

- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git

- Understanding of REST APIs and experience in testing them using tools like Postman

- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in mobile app performance testing and benchmarking

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins

- Familiarity with Firebase Test Lab or similar mobile testing platforms
