Job Description
- Quality Standards: Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and guidelines for products or processes
- Inspections: Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure that products or projects meet quality and compliance requirements
- Quality Control: Monitor and control production or project processes to minimize defects and maintain quality standards
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality control measures
- Defect Identification: Identify and report defects, non-conformities, or discrepancies, and work with teams to resolve issues
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements to maintain and enhance product or project quality
- Training: Provide training to staff and teams on quality control and quality assurance best practices
- Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (eg, ISO 9001)
- Familiarity with quality tools and techniques, such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
