Prezent AI - Principal Machine Learning Scientist (5-7 yrs)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Principal ML Scientist with experience in developing and deploying machine learning models within a SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning algorithms, data analysis, and software development, along with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems and enhance our SaaS products.

2. Lead a team of ML engineers & Scientists to conduct quick experiments and build prototypes.

2. Experience working with Multi-modal LLMs like Claude, Gemini, and Llama.

4. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate machine learning solutions into our platform.

5. Conduct experiments and perform rigorous testing to validate model accuracy and effectiveness.

6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies, and apply them to improve our products.

7. Document processes, models, and workflows for effective knowledge sharing and future reference.

8. Collaborate with top academic institutions to lead research partnerships.

Qualifications:

1. Proven 5-7 years of experience as a Principal Data Scientist or in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment.

2. Publications in top Machine Learning Journals.

3. Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

4. Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment.

5. Strong programming skills in Python with a focus on machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn).

6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Fine-tuning Open Source Large Language Models.

2. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and deploying machine learning models in a cloud environment.
