About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Export-Import (Exim) Staff. As an Exim Staff member, you will be responsible for facilitating the efficient movement of goods ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and optimizing logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute export-import operations including documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and shipment tracking.
• Ensure compliance is followed.
• Prepare and review shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to coordinate shipment schedules, resolve issues, and provide updates on shipment status.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs clearance documents, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations, tariff schedules, and customs procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, procurement, and production to support the smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain.

Candidate requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in export-import operations, customs clearance, and international logistics.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with logistics software systems.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
