Business Head - Solar Power (20-25 yrs)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to spearhead one of our leading solar industry client for their Solar IPP and EPC business. As the Business Head, you will drive the overall strategy, operations, business development, and profitability of the organization, positioning it as a market leader in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a long-term strategy to expand the Solar IPP and EPC business, driving growth, innovation, and sustainability.

- P&L Ownership: Take complete ownership of the P&L, ensuring profitability, cost efficiency, and revenue growth.

- Business Development: Identify and secure large-scale solar projects, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures both domestically and internationally.

- Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end execution of IPP and EPC projects, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to quality standards, and cost optimization.

- Leadership and Team Building: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.

- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with investors, clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to support business objectives.

- Market Leadership: Position the organization as a leader in the solar energy market by staying ahead of industry trends, technology advancements, and policy changes.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: 20+ years of leadership experience in the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record in Solar IPP and EPC businesses.

- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of solar energy, project financing, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.

- Leadership: Exceptional ability to inspire and lead large teams across multiple geographies.

- Financial Acumen: Strong experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and investment strategies.

- Education: Engineering degree (preferably Electrical/Mechanical) with an MBA from a reputed institution.

- Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Experience:

- Proven track record of delivering large-scale solar projects (IPP and EPC) in India and international markets.

- Strong network in the renewable energy sector, including with government bodies, financial institutions, and technology providers.
