SAP ABAP Technical Developer - Implementation & Integration (4-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, and implement complex ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.

- Leverage ABAP Workflows to automate business processes and improve efficiency.

- Utilize CDS Views and AMDPs to optimize data access and reporting.

- Create and maintain OData services for seamless integration with other systems.

- Develop user-friendly Fiori applications to enhance the user experience.

SAP BTP :

- Design and develop applications using SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) components like CAPM, API, Cloud ABAP, UI5/Fiori, and Workflows.

- Create RESTful APIs to integrate SAP systems with external applications.

SAP S/4HANA :

- Understand the core concepts of S/4HANA and its impact on ABAP development.

- Leverage S/4HANA-specific features like CDS Views and OData services.

Integration :

- Design and implement integration solutions using ALE IDOC/EDI, Proxies, Web Services, BAPIs, and RFCs.

- Utilize BODS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Problem-Solving :

- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Identify and implement solutions to optimize system performance and efficiency.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and other technical team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Documentation :

- Create clear and concise technical documentation.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 4-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong understanding of SAP modules like Finance, MM, PP, QM, SD, etc.

- Extensive experience with ABAP RICEF objects, CDS Views, HANA SQL Programming, SAP Fiori Developments, and OData developments.

- Proven expertise in SAP BTP (CAPM, API, Cloud ABAP, UI5/FIORI, Workflows).

- Deep knowledge of integration technologies (ALE IDOC/EDI, Proxies, Web Services, BAPIs, RFCs, BODS).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP security concepts and authorization checks.

- Knowledge of Java connectors and REST APIs.

- Certification in SAP ABAP or S/4HANA
