Role: Murex Test Automation

Job description:

As a Murex Tester, he/she will focus on understanding existing system and review requirement to come up with Test scenario and test cases including test automation scripts. 

As part of the job role:

• Need to coordinate with upstream and downstream systems for Testing cycles and interface engagement. 
• Create Murex MxTest suite, specifically in automating workflows for various asset classes.
• Design of test-cases across different MX.3 versions for upgrades projects
• Design of test-packages and automation scripts for testing inbound and outbound interfaces.
• Creation and execution of regression test package, functional gap analysis and traceability matrix.
• Would require to manual booking in Murex for end-to-end testing.
• Need work on Trade ingestion (API insertions, GUI insertions).
• Perform OSP validations.
• Support Workflow automation for testing from external systems into Murex, such as MarkitWire or any other systems.

Preferred candidate profile

Skills Requirement:

• Financial background with an experience ranging from 5 to 8 years in Testing role.
• Good understanding of Murex Architecture, Market Data, GOM, services & EOD Process.
• Good understanding of MX3.1 Trade structure, trade life cycle and events
• Good understanding of Trade Validation and Compliance checks
• Strong Experience with Onyx tool
• Possess strong skills in Test design and Test Management.
• Possess good knowledge in Capital Markets & Murex 3.1.
• End to End Test Management for Confirmations, Payments, and 

Upward/Downward Interfaces & VaR modules within Murex application.

• Hands on Experience in using ADO.
• Good Experience in booking deals and validation using Murex 3.1
• Other Murex Areas should be aware of:
• Good understanding of GOM, Murex Overview
• MX.3 platform, Distribution/Pre-trade, Trade life cycle
• The candidate must have excellent communication skills and financial / risk expertise to conduct meetings with senior members of Trading desk, Back office, Group Treasury, Finance and Group Risk Management.
• Experience of working in medium to large teams in complex project environments.
• Results-oriented individual with excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Proficient in Linux shell scripting and SQL
