Job Description
- Publishing Tableau Dashboards: Publish and manage Tableau dashboards on our server, ensuring seamless access for stakeholders.
- Creating Tableau Extracts: Develop and optimize Tableau extracts to improve data refresh times and dashboard performance.
- Building Bridges between Databases and Tableau : Design and implement data connections between databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and Tableau.
- Creating Visualizations : Develop interactive and informative visualizations using Tableau, adhering to best practices and our organizations branding guidelines.
- Technical Support : Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for Tableau-related issues, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical problems.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Maintain up-to-date documentation on Tableau best practices, data connections, and dashboard development. Share knowledge with the team and stakeholders to promote self-service analytics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements, provide guidance on data visualization best practices, and deliver high-quality Tableau solutions.
- Tableau Expertise : 2+ years of experience working with Tableau, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
- Data Analysis and Visualization : Strong understanding of data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence concepts.
- Database Knowledge : Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Communication and Collaboration : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications : Tableau Certified Data Analyst or Tableau Certified Developer certification.
- Programming Skills : Experience with programming languages such as Python
- Cloud Platforms : Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
- 2+ years of experience working with Tableau, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
