Gemini Solutions - Power BI Developer (6-10 yrs)

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data insights that drive decision-making.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS :

- 6+ years' experience in Power BI.

- Decent experience with SQL mainly oracle or/and snowflake.

- Can work directly with business users to get the requirements and implement it.

- Should be able to work independently.

- Translate business needs to technical specifications.

- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g reporting tools).

- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g PowerBI).

- Modelling DAX using PowerBI.

- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.

- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.

- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.

- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.

- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.

- Develop and update technical documentation.

- Background in data warehouse design (e.g dimensional modeling) and data mining.

- In-depth understanding of database management systems.

- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).

- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.

- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.

EDUCATION :

- Bachelor's degree or master's in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field.
