Lead Model Risk Management

a) Conduct independent validation and back-testing of quantitative models to assess their performance

b) Responsible for managing Model Risk governance in the organization

c) Identify model limitations and potential risks, providing recommendations for improvements

d) Collaborate with various departments, including risk management, finance, data analytics, and IT, to gather insights and enhance model accuracy

e) Communicate findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders, presenting validation results and recommendations

f) Stay updated with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure the companys model validation practices meet these standards

g) Prepare and maintain detailed validation reports for regulatory examination and internal /external audits

h) Lead a team providing mentorship and training to enhance their skills and knowledge

i) Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in quantitative modelling techniques

j) Pursue continuous improvement initiatives to enhance modelling processes and validation techniques
