Managing the accomplishment of all Line and Base [Hangar] maintenance performed on PNG Air aircraft.
Liaising with the Part 119 Manger Continuing Airworthiness in regard to aircraft availability
Directing the activities of shift supervisors, maintenance engineers and technical support staff.
Ensuring engineering occurrences and defect incidents area are reported within the required reporting period.
Directing Supervisors rostered on the Line and Base [Hanger] to ensure aircraft maintenance engineers are supervised and that established and documented safe maintenance practices are adhered to.
Ensuring that required technical data, tooling, equipment and spare parts are distributed for the correct accomplishment of planned maintenance task.
Ensuring maintenance is carried out in accordance with the standards and procedures in the MOE.
Ensuring ground support equipment is serviceable before use.
Ensuring compliance with corporate HSE standards and requirements in the line areas.
In the absence of the rostered Supervisor acting in the position for the coordination and supervision of maintenance.
Ensuring that all maintenance is carried out on time.
Ensuring all required records of maintenance and certification requirements are completed and processed in accordance with the MOE.
