Deputy Manager Underwriting

Role & responsibilities

• To ensure Closer of Case UW within the given TAT
• To ensure decision within the given Authority and also approve in system (Life Asia/ Group Asia / AURA / SWIFT)
• Query Management
• Vendor Management
• Prepare and Publish MIS

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: Graduation. (Preferred candidates with Medical / Paramedical Education or with Training in UW through ALU / III / LOMA / COMET / Other similar programs)
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in Operations (Underwriter)
• Complete knowledge about underwriting guidelines. Preference is given for candidates having Underwriting experience or work experience in industries like Health Insurance/ Medical Transcription / TPA Management
• Understanding of Risk Management through understanding of Medical/ Financial/ Residential / Occupational / Avocational risks
• Financial Documentation Analysis (P&L, Balance Sheets, ITRs, etc)
• Should possess working experience on Life Asia, Swift
• Good Command and skills in MS Office
