Software Test Engineer (SD WAN)

Who You ll Work With

You will work with software development engineers, hardware engineers, field support engineers, product managers, and software test engineers to analyse customer requirements and use cases, gather technical details, create software test plans, and validate that the product meets our customer s requirements. You will also work with our customer support and engineering teams to help address escalated customer issues by reproducing, and debugging those in the lab.

The role will provide opportunities to create real impact in the rapidly growing Software defined (SD) branch, SD-WAN, Cloud IT services, and virtualization technologies.

What You ll Do

Arista Networks is looking for world class Software Test Engineers to join our fast-paced, high caliber team responsible for validating the products and solutions developed at Arista Networks.Create and execute test plans which involve scale, stress, interop, and customer scenario testing to validate features and products.

• Work with Customer Support and Software Development teams to understand and reproduce customer found defects and validate fixes.
• Install and configure test tools like Ixia, iPerf, etc. to emulate complex networks in test environments.
• Log and track failures in a bug tracking system. Troubleshoot failures and work with the software development team to get them fixed.
• Review functional specs and test plans and provide feedback.
• Create and manage the schedule for assigned test efforts.

• B.Tech or M.Tech in CS/CE/ECE plus 2 years of experience, preferably in the SD WAN technologies (India)
• Knowledge of security protocols such as IPSec, IKE and ACLs is desired.
