Position Summary : .

We are looking for a Software Engineer with proven expertise in testing large scale, distributed cloud based systems in a continuous integration environment.

The engineer in this role will drive and influence quality initiatives within product development teams.

Roles and Responsibilities : .

- Work closely with product development engineers to design new tests for new features and products, analyze existing test coverage, identify gaps and add missing tests.

- Write automated tests and integrate them with CI/CD systems.

- Work on test infrastructure to design, implement and run functional, integration and scale tests.

- Encourage and build a quality focussed culture within engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications : .

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

- Extensive relevant work experience is also acceptable.

- 4-10 years of experience in developing automated tests in a continuous integration environment for large scale systems.

Key Skills :

- Proficiency in writing reliable and maintainable code in Python or Go.

- Experience with continuous integration systems like Jenkins or Teamcity.

- Experience with linux based systems.

- Experience with cloud / containerisation technologies, preferably Kubernetes.

Skills that give you an edge :

- Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.

- Troubleshooting skills.

- Automated testing of the front-end.
