Job Description
- Project Scheduling & Planning:
- Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling software.
- Identify key project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain baseline schedules and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track the progress of various tasks and deliverables against project plans.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
- Analyze deviations from the schedule and suggest corrective actions.
- Resource Management:
- Allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, based on the project schedule.
- Coordinate with different departments and teams to ensure availability and efficient utilization of resources.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks and delays in the schedule and proactively address issues.
- Work with the project team to mitigate risks and implement contingency plans.
- Cost Control:
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures in relation to the schedule.
- Work with project managers to ensure the project is completed within budget and identify cost-saving opportunities related to scheduling and resource management.
- Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of project schedules, changes, and updates.
- Provide historical data for future planning or audits.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Attend project meetings to discuss project status, scheduling conflicts, and resolution strategies.
