Lead Software Engineer

The Position :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will oversee technical strategy, guide project execution, and mentor a team of engineers to build scalable and high-performing software solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical goals with business objectives and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications using Java, React, and related technologies.

- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.

- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and best practices.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies.

- Take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.

- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and React.

- Strong proficiency in Java (including frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).

- Extensive experience with React and related libraries (e.g., Redux, Next.js).

- Solid understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.

- Experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

- Experience with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Jest).

- Contributions to open-source projects.

Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and lead a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in agile software development methodologies.

- Previous experience in managing distributed or remote teams.

- Strong understanding of database design, management and optimization techniques.

- Familiarity with Project Management tools.

We are looking for immediate joiner with notice period up to 15 days or less.

Hybrid working model with 4 days at office.
