PivotRoots - Associate Backend Engineer - Java/Python (1-3 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using languages like Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.

- Develop and maintain database schemas and perform data modeling tasks.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner.

- Work closely with frontend engineers to integrate backend services with user interfaces.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.

- Contribute to the improvement of our engineering processes and tools.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 1-3 years of professional experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Java, Python, Node.js, Go).

- Experience with relational databases (e.g, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g, MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g, Git).

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- A passion for learning and a desire to stay current with the latest technologies
