Senior Security Analyst

Job Overview:. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Windows and Linux systems. In addition to core system administration tasks, the Senior System Administrator will play a key role in firewall management, troubleshooting, and maintaining security standards. A basic understanding of DevOps practices is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:. System Configuration & Management:Manage and support Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring system optimization, security, and compliance with best practices.

Firewall Management:Configure, maintain, and monitor firewall systems to safeguard network security and ensure secure access control.

Software Installation & Updates:Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and system updates, ensuring systems remain secure and up to date.

Hardware Troubleshooting & Support:Diagnose, resolve, and prevent hardware issues across servers, desktops, and network infrastructure.

Asset Management:Manage hardware and software inventory, track assets, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Issue Troubleshooting & Resolution:Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and swift issue resolution.

Documentation & Process Improvement:Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures to enhance team knowledge and streamline operations.

User Support & Training:Provide advanced technical support to users and assist with system training, ensuring user satisfaction and efficiency.

Security & Compliance:Ensure all systems meet internal and external security standards and comply with relevant regulations.

DevOps Exposure (Optional):Basic understanding and support for DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, or cloud infrastructure.

Requirements. Requirements:. 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.

Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.

Strong knowledge in firewall management and security best practices.

Experience with system configurations, hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and updates.

Familiarity with asset management, tracking, and compliance.

Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical processes clearly.

Basic understanding of DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments) is highly desirable.

Requirements. Experience:Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development. Minimum 3+ years of experience in React Native.

React Native Expertise:Proven experience with React Native and related libraries.

Cross-Platform Development:Strong understanding of mobile development for both iOS and Android platforms.

JavaScript/TypeScript:Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

State Management:Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.

API Integration:Strong experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

Testing Frameworks:Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as Jest and Detox.

Version Control:Proficient with Git and version control workflows.

UI/UX:Good understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
