JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Look ML Developer to join our team.

As a Look ML Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions for the Enterprise Semantic Layer and ensuring robust security governance. You will work closely with analysts and other stakeholders to create data-driven solutions that enhance our business intelligence capabilities.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain data models for the Enterprise Semantic Layer.

- Implement and manage security governance within the Looker environment.

- Collaborate with analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical products.

- Optimize data access to improve performance.

- Conduct experiments and analyze results to refine solutions.

- Maintain and update existing analytical solutions to ensure they remain effective.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and AI/ML .

- Create and maintain documentation for solutions and processes.

Expertise and Qualifications :

- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining LookML models.

- Deep understanding of LookML concepts, including explores, views, derived tables, and data actions.

- Proficiency in writing LookML code and using the Looker IDE.

- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.

- Experience working with complex data schemas and relationships.

- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and perform data transformations.

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related data services (i.e., BigQuery).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, stakeholders, and other team members.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience : 5-8 years of experience as a LookML Developer or similar role
