We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for our IC Direct Sales Channel to drive ERP Sales & Value-Added Services expansion. This role involves identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and exceeding sales targets.


Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients within the educational sector and develop a strategic sales plan to penetrate the market effectively.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in educational institutions to promote and sell our ERP solutions and value-added services.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by efficiently managing the sales process, negotiating contracts, and successfully closing deals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals tailored to the specific needs of clients, leveraging leads and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Own tomorrow by keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in ERP and software sales to educational, hospitality, or SME institutes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills •
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as required in the region
