Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage MongoDB architecture, including configuration, upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Administer high-availability setups using MongoDB replica sets, sharding, and other techniques.
- Optimize database performance through advanced query tuning, indexing strategies, and schema design.
- Monitor database health and usage using advanced monitoring tools and generate usage reports.
- Automate tasks using scripting languages such as Bash.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas and experience managing MongoDB in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of database security best practices, including role-based access control and encryption.
- MongoDB Certified DBA certification is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
