Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data visualization with Tableau, extensive experience in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes, and the ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data models and architectures for relational databases (RDBMS) and data warehouses (DWH).
• Create and manage ETL processes using SQL, stored procedures, and data formats like JSON and XML.
• Design and deliver data visualization solutions using Tableau to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and understand data requirements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize queries and ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient data flow in various systems.
• Maintain and enhance data visualization tools and dashboards to provide actionable insights.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Tableau for data visualization.
• Strong experience with SQL, stored procedures, and data manipulation in relational databases.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts in both RDBMS and DWH environments.
• Strong organizational and self-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Snowflake (a plus but not mandatory).
• Experience with Python, Kafka, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms is a bonus.
