API QA Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven API QA Engineer to ensure the stability and quality of our platform. In this role, you will be responsible for validating new features, product changes, and existing functionalities through rigorous testing methodologies. Collaborating closely with QA teams, DevOps, Architects, Software Engineers, and Product Owners , you will ensure clear requirements, comprehensive test coverage, and a seamless user experience.

• Develop and execute Acceptance Tests, Integration Tests, Performance Tests, and End-to-End Tests to validate system stability and functionality.
• Design and automate testing frameworks around data ingestion pipelines to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Create and execute Python/SQL scripts to verify data integrity and identify gaps in data pipelines.
• Track and troubleshoot data-related issues , working closely with team leads from discovery to resolution.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to conduct data quality investigations and enhance automation and testing tools.
• Continuously review and improve QA tools and processes to ensure optimal data integrity and platform performance .
• Work with Product Owners to document existing functionality and develop automated regression tests for core features.

• 5+ years of API testing experience with a strong focus on quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for testing and validation.
• Solid understanding of event model design and data ingestion pipelines .
• Experience in various QA testing methodologies , including functional, regression, integration, performance, load, UAT, and operational readiness testing .
• Proficiency in Scrum/Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Applied experience with AWS cloud services .
• Familiarity with compliance, security, and risk domains , including associated patterns and data elements.
• Hands-on experience with Agile software delivery tools such as Jira, DevOps, and Git .
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
