ETL Developer-Lead I - Software Engineering

Functional skills Experience in data migration projects and data warehouses and Azure cloud. Understanding/ experience with designs and data architecture for the data warehouse, including all information structures i.e. staging area, data warehouse, data marts, operational data stores, standardization of data definitions, development of Physical and Logical modeling Inventories existing data design, including data flows and systems, Designs data Model that integrates new and existing environment Consults with business on low to moderately complex business needs ( Good communication skills -Verbal and written) Perform a variety of Data Analysis, ETL and Data Administration tasks with limited supervision. Assist in the interaction with Leads and architects to plan, develop, improve, maintain components of the Data Warehouse and related consumptions. Evaluates moderately complex requirements along with team and helps in creating detailed business requirements and technical specifications. Good understanding of app developments and API consumptions. Experience in working with Agile methodologies and incremental developments and CICD. Participates in creation of test cases and executes basic test plans, Creates individual task estimates Conducts small meetings with business, IT department and/or tech teams. Requirements Working knowledge of Azure , ADF Synapse and SQLserver Experience in ETL tools like Informatica , SSIS and scheduling tools like ControlM and Airflow. Proficiency in Data Profiling, preparing Mapping documents and Performance Tuning Knowledge of Python and programming skills . Exposure to Visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau etc.. Basics of AI/ML is added advantage Experience in tuning a database or scripts in data warehouse once the resulting application has gone into production Strong SQL skills, both in querying and analytics, preferably on Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Deep experience with ETL tools (Informatica/SSIS/ADF) Knowledge of Jira and other Atlassian SW development and collaboration tools is a plus Qualifications BE, MCA in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline from a reputed college or university Overall industry experience of 5+ yrs with at least relevant experience of 3 yrs. Strong design, and Technical skills, strong conceptual modeling and communications skills, ability to translate business needs to technical solutions Proficiency in using related to technologies and tools. Passion for innovation and quality and should be able to see the bigger picture of a complex Data Warehouse and analytics.
