Site Reliability Engineer Description: UST is looking for an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to work with one of the leading financial services organizations in the US. The ideal candidate must possess strong background on DevOps in a cloud (AWS) environment. The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team. Responsibilities: As an SRE, you will Continuously refine AWS deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability and security. Create plans, collaborate with other DevOps team members, and coordinate with development and business teams. Write code and scripts to automate provisioning of AWS services and to configure services, using tools and languages including AWS CLI / API, Terraform, Chef Configure build pipelines to support automated testing and deployments using tools including Jenkins, AWS Code Deploy. Clearly document and diagram deployment-specific aspects of architectures and environments, working closely with Software Engineers, Software Engineers in Test, and others in DevOps. Troubleshoot issues in production and other environments, applying debugging and problem-solving techniques (e. g. log analysis) , working closely with Development, Quality Engineering teams. Promote a DevOps culture, including building relationships with other technical and business teams. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles, AWS Administrator and Automation Experience. Must have Working, hands-on experience in Kubernetes and AWS EKS Extensive experience in building / maintaining / enhancing CI/CD Pipelines Familiarity with application developed using Java/Spring/Spring Boot stack Strong preference and capability to automate repetitive tasks Thorough understanding of modern systems architectures, including load-balancing, queueing, caching, microservices, etc. Experience in IaC tool such as Terraform, Chef Experience in build / deploy tool such as Jenkins, Jenkins Pipeline AWS administration experience including provisioning EC2 instances, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda functions, RDS databases, S3 storage, IAM security, ECS containers, CloudWatch metrics & logs Experience developing and / or deploying Docker Containers on ECS or Kubernetes Familiarity with SQL, using RDS-PostgreSQL or other DBMS Experience with log aggregation using ELK stack (Elasticsearch-Log Stash-Kibana) Fluency in at least one programming/Scripting language You will hold an edge if you are an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Experience in working with Agile Teams.
