Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, expertise in object-oriented and functional programming, and experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and microservices architecture. This role requires a focus on best engineering practices, continuous improvement, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the development of software systems, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with managers, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
• Drive sustainable engineering practices, producing best-in-class code, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
• Continuously improve existing software systems, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable applications.
• Strong expertise in computer systems fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented and Functional programming.
• Strong proficiency in Java (or other equivalent programming languages).
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in building scalable microservices.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Clean Code, SOLID principles, and Extreme Programming (XP).
• Knowledge and experience with open-source software, frameworks, and cutting-edge technologies.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with security best practices in software development.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques for cloud applications.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
