Provide expertise on data analysis techniques using software tools. Under supervision streamline business processes.

Outcomes:

1. Design and manage the reporting environment; which include data sources security and metadata.
2. Provide technical expertise on data storage structures data mining and data cleansing.
3. Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
4. Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.

Job Description - Use independent judgment to analyze, design, develop and/or maintain databases and its integration with systems Performs database enhancements and improvements Direct application development teams in working with databases, planning and implementing production changes and query optimization Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy completeness and proper usage of data in tables and support tools, such as database dictionaries Monitor transaction activity and utilization, with particular strengths in performance tuning highly transactional databases in both the development and production environments including remotely located servers Ensure data replication is scheduled and optimized Perform Root cause analysis and resolution for all the database and application issues Participate in scheduled and unscheduled system maintenance Change Management, on-call and off-hour systems support Participate in application recovery and disaster recovery practices Maintain security standards with other database administrators and technical resources Supervise and mentor Associate Database Administrators, Database Administrators, Database Engineers as per project needs Perform other duties as assigned or requested Must be able to relocate as needed by the company.
