Senior Data Engineer

Premier International is hiring an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our expanding team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be a vital contributor to the Data Engineering domain, working on innovative projects to meet business requirements.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Designing and Building Metadata Connectors:
• Design, build, and support metadata connectors from SaaS and On-prem data sources to industry-leading tools like Alation, Atlan, Salesforce, and Informatica.
• Collaboration with Business Stakeholders:
• Work closely with business stakeholders and clients to define requirements, review architecture, and propose solutions to business challenges.
• Technical Leadership & Solution Design:
• Lead the design and implementation of solutions that address complex data engineering challenges.
• Provide technical leadership on best practices and standards across the team.
• Architecture & Microservices:
• Design and implement microservices architecture for data engineering solutions, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Data Warehousing & ETL:
• Strong hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes to manage large datasets and ensure high-quality data pipelines.
• Working with APIs & Data Formats:
• Expertise in working with data formats such as JSON, XML, XPath, and developing RESTful APIs for seamless data integration.
• Cloud Solutions & SaaS Tools:
• Experience with Cloud solutions and SaaS tools such as AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, etc., to implement and manage data engineering processes in the cloud.
• SQL and Database Management:
• Proficiency in SQL for analytics and database management, ensuring optimized and efficient querying for large datasets.
• CI/CD Pipelines:
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, utilizing automated deployment tools like Jenkins or GitLab to streamline deployment processes.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Experience & Technical Skills:
• 8-10 years of prior experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java for building and optimizing data solutions.
• Expertise in designing, building, and supporting end-to-end data solutions across various platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architecture for distributed systems.
• Solid hands-on experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• In-depth understanding of JSON, XML, XPath, and RESTful APIs.
• Proven experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills, with a focus on performance tuning and optimization in relational databases.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
