- About the Role - The role holder will execute the M&A strategy in alignment with corporate goals and industry trends through successful sourcing, execution and integration of acquisitions /partnerships/JVs etc.

Periodic tracking / analysis of:.

- Competitive landscape.

- Track potential acquisition targets.

- Competitive M&A activity.

- Analysis of benchmarks.

Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships.

- Support and co-ordinate due diligence efforts, including assisting business teams, external advisors to evaluate the financial, operational, legal, and regulatory aspects of target companies.

- Analyze financials statements, Build valuation models and prepare business cases of potential acquisition targets using various methodologies and financial analysis techniques.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integration plans for successfully merging acquired companies.

- Assist and advice in preparing bid documents, term sheets and other legal documentation, negotiations etc. as and when required.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of acquired companies' post-merger, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

- Benchmark & track deal activity in areas of Agrochemical & pharma.

- Conduct research and analysis of the industry to formulate view on various sub segments/sectors and come up with solutions to grow the business.

Educational Qualifications - CA, MBA - Finance.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 2+ years of similar experience in a large corporate or investment bank.

- Candidates with strategy or consulting backgrounds can also apply.

- Candidates with experience in Consulting, Private Equity Funds, Financial Institutions, Manufacturing, Healthcare/Sciences, or Chemical sectors are preferred.

- Financial acumen including Financial analysis, business analysis.

- Acquainted with valuation methods such as DCF, Relative valuation etc.

- Strategic thinking and Problem solving skills.

- Strong Communication skills.
