Java Developer

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Java Back-End Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications and services using Java.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable and robust applications.
• Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement security and data protection measures for applications.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications and services.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, and testing.
• Stay updated with the latest Java advancements and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in back-end development using Java.
• Proficient in Java frameworks such as Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automated testing practices (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
