Job Description

We are looking for an SQL Server Developer with 2 to 3 years of Experience to join our team. He / she will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems and also for developing MS-SQL queries and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support‌ ‌software‌ ‌developers‌ ‌with‌ ‌database‌ ‌operations‌ ‌including‌ ‌the‌ ‌development‌ ‌of‌ ‌ complex‌ ‌SQL,‌ ‌tuning‌ ‌of‌ ‌DML‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌creation‌ ‌of‌ ‌stored‌ ‌procedures.‌‌
• Develop high-quality database solutions.
• Use T-SQL to develop and implement procedures and functions.
• Ability to code Dynamic SQL in procedures.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor,‌ ‌maintain‌ ‌database‌ ‌systems‌ and‌ ‌troubleshoot‌ ‌problems‌ ‌that‌ ‌may‌ ‌arise.‌‌
• Maintain‌ ‌data‌ ‌integrity‌ ‌and‌ ‌security‌ ‌(manage‌ ‌roles‌ ‌and‌ ‌permissions‌ ‌of‌ ‌database‌ ‌users).‌‌
• Develop‌ ‌strategies‌ ‌and‌ ‌implement‌ ‌solutions‌ ‌for‌ ‌managing‌ ‌back-ups,‌ migration, ‌restoration‌ ‌and‌ ‌replication‌ ‌&‌ ‌create,‌ ‌manage‌ ‌constraints‌ ‌and‌ ‌indexes. ‌

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant degree.
• Proven years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, Bulk Loading of flat files, SQL Server Analysis Services, and Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
• Experience in migrating database from Oracle to MS SQL Server.
• Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements.
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
• A team player.
• Good time-management skills and problem-solving skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
