Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and acquire new high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients by leveraging various lead generation techniques and networking opportunities.
    • Support in selling and cross-selling a range of investment products, such as mutual funds, PMS, Advisory and Research Services, stocks, bonds, structured products, insurance, and alternative investments.
    • Assist the team in achieving revenue targets by actively participating in client meetings, product presentations, and closing sales.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
    • Understand clients financial goals and objectives, providing personalized wealth management solutions tailored to their needs.
    • Conduct regular portfolio reviews, ensuring that clients investment strategies align with their risk tolerance and financial objectives.
  3. Product Knowledge and Market Intelligence:
    • Stay updated on the latest market trends, investment products, and regulatory changes.
    • Provide clients with relevant information on new investment opportunities and developments in the financial markets.
    • Collaborate with the product team to ensure effective communication of product features, benefits, and any associated risks to clients.
  4. Sales Strategy & Reporting:
    • Support in the development of sales strategies, campaigns, and marketing initiatives aimed at increasing client acquisition and asset growth.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activity logs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare reports for management regarding sales progress, pipeline status, and market trends.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the operations, compliance, and investment teams to ensure smooth execution of client transactions and adherence to internal processes and regulations.
    • Collaborate with the research and investment advisory teams to deliver tailored investment advice and solutions to clients.
  6. Training and Development:
    • Continuously develop knowledge of wealth management products, financial planning concepts, and industry best practices.
    • Participate in internal training sessions to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and overall performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, AMFI) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 0-5 years of experience in sales, financial services, or wealth management, with a strong understanding of investment products and portfolio management.
    • Prior experience in client acquisition and relationship management is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
    • Familiarity with portfolio management software is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
    • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to assess financial situations and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time position based in Delhi NCR, with potential travel for client meetings or events.
