We are currently seeking a Senior Application Scientist - Pharmaceutical who will be responsible for designing and performing method development support for pharmaceutical applications in the Generic Pharmaceutical market. This is a hands-on, in laboratory role located in Bengaluru, India.

What we ll get you doing:

Developing applications showcasing Phenomenex products for the global Pharmaceutical market.

Assisting customers with their chromatography challenges by developing applications onsite at Phenomenex to be transferred to a customer site.

Supporting customers online via email communications (Zendesk ) and live chat

Creating technical content (Tech Notes, Webinars, Tradeshow Posters, etc.) to showcase Phenomenex products to a global audience.

Working with R&D, Sales and Marketing to provide input for relevant content for brochures, for website, and seminars.

Aid in the trouble shooting and technical support of customers and distributors worldwide.

The essential requirements of the role include:

M.Sc. in Chemistry/M.Pharm. with 10 years HPLC/UHPLC experience OR Ph.D. in Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry with 6 years of HPLC/UHPLC experience.

Experience developing, HPLC/UHPLC-UV/DAD/ELSD assays for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceutical formulations, which includes having a deep understanding of method parameters as well as mobile and stationary phase s selectivity.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ease with public speaking, along with interpersonal and organizational skills.

Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills as this role will be responsible for managing and executing their own schedule.

Experience with LC-MS/MS and sample preparation techniques such as Solid Phase Extraction (SPE).

Willing to relocate (if necessary) and willing to travel up to 30%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Strong problem solving and analysis skills.

Ability to adapt to and handle competing departmental needs. Experience using Quality by Design (QbD) software for method development.
