Mechnical Design Engineer (Gandhinagar )

Petrotec Retail Petroleum Equipment India Private Ltd. plans to strengthen its R&D Department in Gandhinagar ( Gujarat)

We are seeking applications for the position of Mechanical Design Engineer ( Gandhinagar )

Gender: (Male / Female)

Education: B . E Mechanical

Experience: 4-8 Years

Job Location: Gandhinagar ( Gujarat)

Role & responsibilities:

• Analyse customer needs and determine the requirements, capacity, and cost for developing a given mechanical system plan with the help of team members
• Mechanical design, mechanical development
• Design and development of new products and to make drawings of parts
• Elaborate and manage technical drawings, namely in the domain of sheet forming, casting processes of ferrous and aluminum alloys & machined components
• Develop and interact with different software applications like Solid Works/AUTOCAD and related tools (like sheet metal and PDM enterprise)
• Design maintenance and testing procedures for mechanical components and equipment
• Plan and develop applications and modifications for mechanic properties used in parts and systems to improve product performance
• Provide application domain expertise to product support personnel to solve field issues
• Build the prototype for a new product
• Provide updated drawings of existing products to different departments and suppliers

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

• Fuel Dispenser Design & Development experience
• Knowledge of EN 13617/EN 14678 Standards
• Knowledge of ATEX/CCOE/PESO/OIML/W&M/CDAC certifications

Level of Education and Professional Experience:

• Minimum 3 to 4 years professional experience in leading multiple aspects of product design --including engineering, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing products;
• Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes and common material properties; Experience integrating electrical and mechanical systems;
• Expertise in CAD - Preferably SolidWorks; Must be legally authorized to work in India without company sponsorship now and in the future;
