Job Description
Assist Project team leader to establish Project Quality team and organization, develop Project Quality Plan, identify key procedures and monitor implementation.
Develop discipline procedures, training material, hand books etc. as and when required.
Develop guideline ITPs, Check lists, procedures for both Supplier/Site QMS.
Coordinate with Completion team.
Conduct supplier capability assessment.
Complete and submit Supplier Capability Assessment reports in 10 working days for approval.
Moderate/review supplier post order evaluation report/matrix.
Non-conformance (NCR s) raised during surveillance visit in a month and closure status.
Provide technical support to site and project team.
Attend pre-inspection meetings and approve inspection and test plan and procedures.
Ensure proper planning for inspection activities. Ensure availability of all necessary documents at inspection release and implement
Maintain cordial relationship with Client Representative and ensure that client quality requirements are understood, agreed and fulfilled.
Analyze quality information (audit results, process / product non identify corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor discipline quality related activities on the project.
Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
Monitor quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
Coordinate discipline QA/QC activities with the site QC Manager.
Coordinate discipline QA/QC activities with the site QA Manager.
Coordinate discipline quality related correspondence with the customers representatives.
Action and close all customer complaints.
Manage discipline team of QA/QC personnel. Align the quality resources with business needs and assure effective coverage of the project.
Minimum Job Requirement:
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years experience in Procurement Quality handling Piping in Offshore topside projects.
Should have 10 years experience in oil gas/petrochemical industry.
Should have previously worked with major EPC contractor.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of International Codes and Standards.
