The unit will specialize in manufacturing of high-quality glass products, Tempered Glass, and Laminated Glass, with strong demand in both local and international markets.

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The professional is responsible for month-end and year-end closing procedures with an emphasis on monthly financial reporting, inter-company reconciliations, and preparation and filing of GST returns and other taxations.
Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  
• Prepare the monthly and annual financial statement packages of the entities within the organization along with related support & backup
  
• Lead the coordination of annual financial statement sign-off with external accountants and internal management.
  
• Implement and maintain financial reporting procedures to comply with internal and external reporting deadlines and requirements
  
• Perform continuous assessment of the month-end close process to reduce the timing required to close the financial period
  
• Emphasis on financial reporting along with inter-company reconciliations, preparation and filing of taxations returns
  
• Produce accurate and timely audit and review engagements
  
• Prepare projections, forecasts, business plans and other projects;
  
• Be able to complete corporate tax returns;
  
• Be able to address client issues with third parties such as, regulatory auditors, financiers, etc.
• Make recommendations to the manager for resource requirements;
  

Required Qualification:

• 8 years or more related experience in Accounting.
• Experience within the construction/real estate development industry is preferred.
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Demonstrated supervisory skills
• Awareness of business trends
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Lookups and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant.
• Relevant certification will be preferred
