Job Description

Job Title: Azure Database Engineer (L2)

Location : Mumbai

Position Type : Full-time

As an Azure Database Engineer (L2), you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients Azure database systems. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to design and implement robust and scalable Azure database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage Azure database solutions for our clients.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
Perform database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security management.
Troubleshoot complex database-related issues and implement solutions.
Monitor and optimize Azure database performance.
Ensure the security and compliance of Azure database environments.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate Azure database solutions with other cloud and on-premises systems.
Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest Azure and database technologies and best practices.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on Azure databases.
Experience with Azure database services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL/MySQL.
Strong knowledge of database concepts and technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing.
Experience with database administration tools and techniques.
Certifications such as AZ-303, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience with cloud-native database technologies and microservices architecture is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
