HR & Admin Executive ( Garment Factory ) Mauritius

Role & responsibilities

1. The incumbent would be responsible for all aspects of HR, Administration and Facilities management in a factory setting of 200+ employees
2. Handle processing of job applications, work permits and social welfare schemes with local govt authorities
3. Communicate company policies, procedures and changes to all factory staff and workers and ensure compliance.
4. Oversee employee relations including staff welfare, medical checkups, travel arrangements, events, etc
5. Monitor and coordinate the monthly payroll processing of the company including Full and Final settlement.
6. Identify training needs and conduct training for various junior factory personnel with the help of Line Managers
7. Manage administrative functions including records management, correspondence and reporting
8. Responsible for maintaining the AMCs, repairs and upgrades if required, for all factory equipment.
9. Analyse cost, identify areas for reduction and implement cost saving measures
10. Conduct meetings, different drills and ensure compliance with company safety protocol.
11. Timely handle the renewal of expatriate visas and other statutory legal documents and contracts.

Preferred candidate profile

Applicants should be aged below 35 years, ideally with at least 3 years work experience in the HR & Administration function in a factory environment of a mid size company.
