Job Description : AVP Credit Policy

Roles & Responsibilities:

Credit Policy Management & Underwriting SOP :

- Establish credit risk assessment criteria and methodologies to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers.

- Identify credit policy improvements to improve approval rates and reduce NPA.

- Develop and refine credit scoring models and decisioning processes.

- Perform monthly reviews of credit policies to analyze month on month movement of approval rates, bounce rates and roll forward rates, perform gap analysis to AOP and deep dive into problem solving.

- Perform Competition benchmarking and identify areas of improvement in credit risk assessment.

- Establish underwriting guidelines and criteria for approving or denying credit applications. - Review Credit Underwriting SOPs for manual underwriting along with Credit Underwriting managers.

- Implementation and monitoring of systems and infrastructure for Credit Risk Evaluation along with product and other risk sub-units

Pricing and Credit Line Management :

- Aligning product pricing for Personal Loans and Two Wheeler Loans, to the AOP goals

- Balance risk considerations with the need to provide a positive and streamlined experience for customers during the credit application process.

- Monitoring and review of Credit Line limit and pricing across borrower segments and dealer

- Ensure minimal drop-offs due to pricing and limit availability while ensuring risk coverage

Portfolio Risk Oversight :

- Analyze the performance of the existing credit portfolio, identifying trends and areas of concern.

- Implement systems and processes to monitor credit exposures and track key credit underwriting metrics.

- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing the credit portfolio to business teams.

- Generate regular reports for senior management and stakeholders on the credit portfolio's performance and risk profile.

Loss Forecasting :

- Review and monitor loss forecasting and forecasting models for all Captive lending products.

- Strong with Numbers (Quantitative Ability)

- Education - BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MBA
