Diabetes Minimed India - The Sr. IT Technologist - Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our SAP and Non-SAP applications. This position will work closely with the development team, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks and ensure that all applications meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
A Day in the Life:
- Create & update appropriate documentation
- Utilize applicable tools to facilitate adequate systems testing, monitoring & troubleshooting
- Contribute to identify and implement continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and maximize value to clients
- Maintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies
- Work independently to estimate, design and deliver solutions
- Ability to multi-task assignments and exercise judgment regarding escalations to senior team members or vendor
- Maintain a productive relationship with Stakeholders, Process Owners, Technical and Functional Peers through effective communications and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain a strong practical understanding of technologies currently deployed within the department.
- Check for any critical issues or performance bottlenecks that need immediate attention. Attend the daily stand-up meeting with the development and QA teams to discuss the days priorities and any blockers.
- Review the performance testing plan for the day, ensuring that all necessary test environments and data are ready.
- Coordinate with the DevOps team to confirm that the testing infrastructure is correctly configured and has the latest builds deployed.
- Create or update performance test scripts.
- This might involve using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to simulate user interactions with the application. Execute initial tests to verify that the scripts run as expected and the environment is stable.
- Run full-scale performance tests to simulate various load conditions (e.g., peak load, stress testing, endurance testing). Monitor system performance in real-time, focusing on metrics like response time, throughput, and system resource utilization.
- Analyze the data from the performance tests. Identify any performance bottlenecks or areas where the system fails to meet performance requirements. Collaborate with developers to diagnose the root causes of performance issues.

Must-Have: Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in performance testing of Salesforce and SAP applications.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Experience with application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce and SAP architecture, including customization and integration.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation and performance analysis.
- Define data load strategy and workload models to support baseline, scalability, and volume tests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in end-to-end performance testing, including client-side, server-side, and database performance.
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and their performance characteristics.
- Validates testing for SOX & GXP compliances and FDA regulatory to include Title 21 CFR Part 11, FDA CFR Part 820.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with creating Performance test framework utilizing JMeter, HP Performance Center and similar tools.
- Certification in Salesforce and/or SAP performance testing is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into the development lifecycle.
