Controls and Reporting Assoc Analyst

Key Accountabilities:

Key deliverables for this role includes:

• Preparation & finalization of Annual Ind AS compliant Standalone & Consolidated financials along with Notes to Acounts
• First person responsible for closing statutory accounts & coordinating with statutory audit for specifies legal entities
• Preparation of quarterly Ind AS compliant financial results
• Work with planning team to estimate the full year profitability for the calculation of Advance Tax
• Working with Tax Team for computing the Advance Tax payable (including MAT calculations)
• Preparation of Tax Audit report and drive the Tax Audit in consultation with the Tax Team
• Assist Region Controller in aspects of technical accounting & reporting aspects for India Accounting
• Work with sector for analysis & implementation of any new accounting guiadance under US GAAP

Communication / Reporting:

• Ensure details are provided to transfer price auditors as per their requirements
• Preparing and submitting of annual US Tax Package to Corporate
• Computation of Tax Expense (both US and Indian Tax) including Current and Deferred Tax in consultation with Tax Team
• Submission of various reports to Sector viz. FIN48, FAS 109, Volume Submission etc.
• Tax hard close

Drive / Monitor:

• Drive development, implementation and maintenance of accounting policies
• Develop optimal accounting structure and procedures for Indian Accounts and minimize the OBEs at year end
• Improving the overall process for monthly / quarterly closure of Indian books while working with all the key stakeholders
• Liaison with respective departments (Marketing, HR etc) for collation of data and reporting out

Reviews & Other Activities:

• Review the quarterly financials and COC of key schedules
• Ensure compliance of Ind AS, IFC & other statutory requirements
• Ownership of closure for issues raised in interactions with Statutory Auditors (Indian Accounting)
